No sleeve? That would be disappointing.
What about special Vodafone branding like boot screen or menu entries/pre-installed apps?

My post has been amended, there is indeed a protective sleeve included in the packaging.
There is no branding either on the phone itself or within the installed software.
You get stock 2.1 Android firmware.
