My family and I visited the Walsall store yesterday and unfortunately the experience was way below what we have come to expect from McDonalds.
1) One of the ketchup tubs I purchased had foreign matter in it – I have retained the offending item
2) My cola was lukewarm and had absolutely no carbonation
3) Two sandwiches were incorrect (plain filet had sauce, normal McChicken sandwich was plain)
I spent almost £20 on my food order and am a regular visitor to your stores.
The store replaced the filet when requested (I realised the mistake as soon as the meal was started) but as I was seated upstairs and had already made 2 trips to the tills I simply left the store – and I considered that the foreign matter in the ketchup was too important to let a store manager deal with it as it was a problem with the supplier not the store.
I will be posting this on my blog http://labby.co.uk/mcdonalds-complaint along with an enlarged image of the foreign object found in my ketchup container.

Incident on 09.04.2011, Coventry: Gallaghar Retail Park
I went to McDonalds for Veggie Deli. But instead of veggie deli they gave me Deli with Chicken in it, and when i tried to complain to (Asian) Manager, he refused and told me that, they don’t do this type of mistake and refused to change my deli, how disgusting.

I’m here now in briton ferry m d’s , you have seven staff on !! the place empty every single table is stinking, crayons all Over the floor which I consider a health risk. I had to sit at a table which had food over it and half a cup old cold coffee. I will not be revisiting as I think this is unacceptable. I have taken photos if you want to see them.

I hope the rest of your travel (holiday??) is more enjoyable for you.
Grab a few snaps of the mess with your phone, I will happily host them to show the state of the restaurant – as the old adage says “a picture paints a thousand words”.
